Tonight we received reassuring news that Minnesota’s Stay at Home order will expire on May 18 and be replaced by #StaySafeMN. What does this mean for us? While we begin to reopen our state, Governor Walz is asking all of us to take personal responsibility for keeping ourselves and our vulnerable family members and neighbors healthier by continuing to take sensible precautions.

It’s up to us to stay safe, IGH! Check our social media pages and www.invergroveheights.org/COVID-19 for updates as we prepare to carefully reopen our parks and facilities. More of our local retail businesses will also be reopening next week, with safety plans in place, and more of our residents will be returning to work. City Hall, like other establishments that focus on in-person customer service, will remain closed to the public through the end of month, but we will continue serving you.

Remember, we are still in this fight as a community, and we can still work together with our frontline workers to battle COVID-19 and keep case numbers down. We’ve got this, IGH.
